  Destiny’s Child to perform at All-Star Weekend Business, TV / Movies | (0)

  Prolonging their "farewell" as a group, Destiny's Child is planning to renunite for another performance at this years 2006 NBA All-Star game which will be held in the native Houston-TX Feb. 19th. Also doing big things at this years All-Star game is Pharrell, who will promote commercials for the NBA that will appear on TNT.

  Jennifer Lopez and her Nuyorican Productions company has supposedly signed a deal with Sony BMG to produce a film called "Reggaeton". The movie is about a South Bronx wanna-be rapper who is forced to moved to Puerto Rico (sound exciting. jk). Production is expected to begin Spring 2006, with J. Lo taking production credits.

  B has decided to drop plans for her next solo album and focus on her role in the upcoming "Dreamgirls" movie. She had originally planned on hitting the studio in May in hopes of releasing a second solo album for Columbia in September 2006, but the May plans would hinder with filming for Dreamgirls.
