Pharrell prepares next video - Number 1 Music, Music Videos | (0)
Pharrell and Kanye just finished up the video for Pharrell's next single "Number 1" from his upcoming album "In My Mind". The song was produced by Pharrell under his "Skateboard P" alter-ego. The album was originally supposed to come out back in Feb, but he wanted to add more songs so its now slated for July.

Arthur from giantstep.net dropped me a line on the upcoming release from The Roots - Don't Feel Right. The album is expected to drop August 29th 2006. Just heard what looks like the first single "Don't Feel Right" and of course its like most Roots material... hot.

Outkast gets another Idlewind release date Music, TV / Movies | (0)
Back on January 19, 2006 we wrote that Outkast's Idlewind finally got a release date of March 10th, after being delayed multiple times. Well that date passed! Now they've got another release date of August 25th for the movie and August 22nd for the soundtrack to the movie. A track from the soundtrack "The Mighty O" recently leaked on the net and its not bad. It's nice to see Andre rapping again. The movie which stars Andre and Big Boi also includes Patti Labelle, Macy Gray, Terrance Howard, Ben Vereen, Cicely Tyson and Faizon Love. Here is the track: "Outkast ...

Kelly Rowland album delayed Music | (0)
Didn't know that Kelly Rowland was to release a solo album in July, but either way we now have more time to save our money to get it. Columbia/Sony Urban Music has announced that it is delaying Kelly's sophomore solo album titled "My Store: Kelly Rowland" until early next year. Kelly's manager and Beyonce's dad Mathew Knowles states that they delayed the album to make sure that they got their marketing plans right for Kel's.

Busta Rhymes to release new album Music | (0)
I've been suspect about Busta Rhymes after the way he handled the death of his body guard earlier this year, but anyhow homies finally set to release his first album in three years. The Big Bang is set to release June 13th. This will be Busta's seventh solo album. Also riding on the album is Missy Elliott, Q-Tip, Floetry, Raekwon and Marsha Ambrosius. Busta also will have a track he completed with the late Rick James before he passed. Dr. Dre did most of the work on the album, so expect the beats to be rediculous.

Juve's lastest album "Reality Check" scored #1 in soundscan sales with 171,000 copies moved in it's first week of sales. The ablum features Ludacris, Fat Joe, Bun B, Paul Wall and others.

It's been a hell of a ride for the former loan officer. Word is that Vida recently got a record deal with a new upstart label. She's expected to drop an album this summer called "Theme Park". No further details provided or wanted!
