Like we wrote about here, rapper endorsements of luxury items are becoming more common. 50 Cent has launched the G-Unit GXT II cross-trainer and launch the G-Unit watch line covered by Streetgadget. The watch line will also include a $3,500 MP3-playing model. We also have come to find out that not all rapper endorsed products are doing well. Eminem with Shady brands and Jennifer Lopez’s JLO fashions are struggling. Is it us or does alot of new rapper shoes look like old versions of famous Nikes like say the Jordans. Reebok designers love old Nikes for sure.

Street Gadget: 50 Cent to release MP3 watch Hot Gear, Technology | (0)
Street Gadget reports on 50 Cent's upcoming release of the world's first MP3 watch. Month's ago we told you about Olivia, releasing a G-Unit lingerie line and 50 stating he may do multivitamin's. Now hes jumped on watches, and first will be a MP3 watch. The watch will be available in 256 megs and 512 megs. Hopefully this won't play out like Damon Dash's Roc Box.

The Dave Chappelle Show: "Season 2 Uncensored" DVD has become the fastest-selling TV on DVD title in history. 500,000 units were sold on its release date May 24th and 1.2 million units were sold in the first seven days. At Best Buy, they report that its flying off the shelves. To date, the first season DVD has sold close to 3 million copies, more than "Seinfeld" and "The Family Guy". This one should easily outdo the first. We can see why Dave feels the heat (here and here) about making the next season better than this one.

And what may be great is that Blockbuster no longer charges late fees. Available games will include: "Twisted Metal: Head-On™," "Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade," and EA's "Need for Speed™ Underground Rivals."
