"This is a big thing," Jay Z stated. "What I love about it is...10-15 yrs ago...they said hip hop was a fad... And when you get something like this happening... It's an amazing thing!" Jay-Z helped New York Hot97 and Los Angeles Power 106 announce new partnerships with Apple iTunes that will allow the radio stations to sell iTunes songs directly from their websites. Listeners will now be able to search, browse and buy all 10 songs that are constantly in rotation at the radio stations!

Another artist with a clothing. I'm still waiting for someone to do something completely different... completely. But besides the point, Fabolous has launched his own clothing line called "Rich Yung Society". The line is said to have a Japanese streetwear and urban boutiques twist to it, with an upscale price tag. Many items in the Rich Yung Collection is said to cost over $200. Don't know what happened to the rumor of Papoose going to Atlantic Records, but DJ Kay Slay's Street Sweepers Entertainment is hooking up with Busta Rhymes to help promote Papoose's career a bit. Their hoping the alliance could help him land a seven figure deal. Papoose is expected to perfom with Busta at Spring Break on BET. This MSNBC article is suggesting that Kanye West is potentially on his way to becoming the next Sean "Diddy" Combs. At 28 years of age, and $16.9 million in 2005 earnings, West made No. 25 on Rolling Stone Magazine's Top 30 list of The Richest Rock Stars of 2006. (Diddy rings in at No. 14 with $24.3 million, making him the richest hip-hop artist on the list.) T.I. to release Video Game Business, Toys | (0)
Along with a new movie, T.I. has plans of releasing a Street Racing Video game. The game will feature T.I. and his PSC Crew racing thru the streets of Atlanta. The prototype of the game currently includes six new T.I songs. No word on the future release date yet.

The Source Magazine officially gets new owners Business | (0)
The New York Supreme court has ruled against Benzino and Dave Mays in the legal battle for who has legal control over The Source Magazine. The Black Enterprise/Greenwich Street Corporate Growth Partners now fully owns 82% of the shares previously belonging to Benzino and Mays, since they defaulted on their debt obligations ($16 million +). The Clipse to release summer album Business | (0)
The Clipse have been missing in action for years now due to legal issues with their record label Jive Records. It looks like they have come to an agreement and the Clipse will now release their new album "Hell Hath No Fury" sometime this summer. Supposedly Jive agreed to give them more money and their own imprint as well (Re-Up Gang Records).
